Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Social Work

These projects explore how applied artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning can ethically advance child and family wellbeing research. Topics include the use of machine learning methods in child- and family-centered datasets, the ethical implications of AI in social work, and the design of AI-informed multisystem interventions. AI offers promising tools for family interventions but also calls for prevention of harm and negative impact. Studies and publications in this area include:
